No Snow Kent?

It had to happen didn't it?  The whole of the UK is under six feet of snow, well according to the media anyway, except for the south-east corner of England, namely Kent.  Nothing new since a few teeny tiny flurries last night but they don't want to be stuck out in the middle of nowhere on their ownsome when there's well attended gatherings elsewhere in the country.  We are meant to 'have it heavy' by 3pm today but even though the sky has been white with unfallen snow since around 7am this morning and it still hasn't fallen, I won't be holding my breath.  Lets face it if you had the chance to go to a massive party or be stuck on your own in a rather cold and forgotten little place with a few other souls who could be bothered to turn up wouldn't you rather be at the main event? Exactly.  So all of the snow has gathered in neighbouring counties and is rudely blowing some unkind raspberrries to their rather forlorn and forgotten cousins over the border.

Ah well, s'pose we should be grateful, but it's so frustrating watching the pretty scenes in the media all over everywhere in Britain ... except Kent.  I know, I know, it's only pretty if you don't have to be out in it.  Just wish I could stop doggie from trying to go out and build a snowman (he does try believe me!) and we know when it is doing it's best to snow (the odd teeny tiny bits I was telling you about earlier ... the ones that fell last night?) as doggie sits by the back door mumbling and grumbling (cos he wants to go out and eat each one before it hits the floor) so we know it's trying to snow but it just hasn't got the heart.
